If you’re wondering when the best time to travel to Zurich is it is probably during the period April to October. At times in the Winter months, Zurich can be very cold and at times there is a vicious wind coming through the city from Lake Zurich. However, if you are prepared for the weather, you’ll have no problem and you’ll enjoy the stunning scenery of the snow on the Alps around Zurich. During the winter months the temperature is around 38 degrees so more indoor activities should be planned then.

During June through September you will find the warmest temperatures. The high temperature is around 75 degrees and the weather is perfect for outdoor activities.

Always bring plenty of heavier clothing during the winter months. The rest of the year various clothing should be brought along. Lighter weight clothing for the summertime. You’re going to love Zurich any time of the year.
